Mark Kostabi (Los Angeles, November 27, 1960) is an American painter and composer. His paintings are characterized by certain recurring elements, such as references to other works of art and the portrayal of faceless subjects that bring to mind the mannequins depicted in De Chirico’s art. I had the opportunity to perform as a percussionist in his compositions, alongside the great Tony Esposito, in the beautiful setting of Abruzzo.
